GEC – Giochi Elettronici Competitivi is the Italian body in charge that manages the e-Sport
GEC was born in 2014 to:
• make rules and promote e-Sport as official sport;
• disseminate and teach people to make correct use of videgame;
• grow up and develop gaming industry.
GEC has established regulation and common standard and provides service and technical assistance for players, referees, coaches,
team, multigaming, lan room, gaming center, event organizers and support involved companies.
GEC is recognized by the Italian institutions, in August 2016 has more than 50 affiliated associations, 20.000 registered players, and more than 250 official tournaments.
